Both of the ranges you present feel like they are both in the “starter” range. Entrepreneurs have the optimism, skills and disregard for all the reasons something will likely fail. “Builders” have the ability to scale things which requires hiring, management and lots of skills required to build a product or company that dents the universe. Some folks can successfully start and build but there are many builders who get frustrated by the ambiguity of the just-born startup, and many entrepreneurs become frustrated by the “people issues” that crop up as a company gets bigger.
